Jenny Osborne
Jenny joined the Project as a staff attorney in 2024. She has over a decade of experience representing people sentenced to death in their federal and state post-conviction proceedings. Before joining the Project, Jenny was an associate attorney with Phillips Black, a nonprofit public interest law practice dedicated to providing high quality legal representation to individuals serving severe penalties. Before that, she was an Assistant Federal Defender in Delaware’s Capital Habeas Unit, where she ultimately worked to make the state court’s abolition of the death penalty retroactive. Jenny graduated from the UCLA School of Law, where she served as a senior editor of the UCLA Law Review. After graduating from law school, she clerked for a judge on the D.C. Court of Appeals. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband, two daughters, and cat.
